Welcome to ifPeople.net! ifPeople's site is constructed with Free/Open Source software, with several Free Software add-on products, and a custom design, all implemented using Web standards and best practices. This page is designed to give you more information about how the site is constructed.
The design
ifPeople.net is designed to combine a user friendly presentation of information with an attractive design that reflects our company's commitment to ResponsibleIT. You will find reflections of nature, as well as high tech, throughout the site.
The standards
We strive to implement best practices in our projects, which has kept ifPeople on the leading edge of Web standards for accessibility and web standards, making our sites available to wider audiences while also optimizing for search engines.
The platform
This site is powered by Plone, a leading Open Source content management system, and Zope, one 
of the oldest, Open Source web application servers, built on the 
enterprise scripting language, Python.
The products
Extending the features of the platform are a series of products on this site, including ones from the Open Source community and custom products created by ifPeople. Some highlights include:
- GetPaid: a commerce and payment processing product, which ifPeople has organized the development of.
- PloneFormGen: a versatile tool for creating custom forms on a Plone site.
- ATSuccessStory: An ifPeople product, ATSuccessStory makes it easy to feature case studies and client profiles on our site.
