Tirza brings to the organization a long passion for science and an ecological perspective. By combining strengths in identifying opportunities with technical knowledge and analytical skills, she works to realize the potential to increase abundance and wealth. She believes that skills for bringing forth a sustainable world should be taught in every discipline and to all ages. During the last two years, Tirza has been working in Argentina to promote more sustainable business. Her work has focused on research, writing, and networking to increase the availability of knowledge and tools. Tirza graduated from Rice University with a degree in Biology and Environmental Engineering. She also studied ethics and business law at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. Later, at the University of Auckland in New Zealand she designed and conducted research projects on ecosystem succession and environmental chemistry. As a Janus Fellow, she traveled with Chris to Egypt to investigate the management of water resources.
