Evolving the role of civil society organizations: An ifPeople case study with Internet mapping
Highland Valley has worked with ifPeople to develop a system that effectively repositions the organization and how it delivers service. Through a participative Internet mapping software, citizens actively and independently seek the services they need. This presentation, delivered at the Open Source Geospatial conference in June 2005, reveals the approach to more efficient and effective delivery of elder services and the role of Open Source technologies in creating a unique system.
