BALLE, Business Alliance for Local Living Economies, is a network of local groups across the conference. The BALLE annual conference, May 20-23, is a conference for business and community leaders from across the US who are working together to increase prosperity and equity in our society, strengthen local communities, and preserve our natural environment.

BALLE is a national organization that creates, strengthens and connects business networks dedicated to building strong local living economies. It currently serves 20 networks in the US and Canada including the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia, sponsor of this conference.

The BALLE Conference participants will include internationally renowned authors, independent business owners, community and economic development professionals, government officials, and community leaders. Panel discussions and workshops will explore key issues and generate ideas and action plans for stimulating local living economies throughout our country.  The program includes:
