Get access to SustainAbility reports on new site
SustainAbility, the UK-based consultancy and think tank, has relaunched its Web site and created online access to its research reports. These reports, previously available for a fee, can now be downloaded once you sign up on the site.
SustainAbility has provided leading research and thinking in the
field of sustainability, ethics, and civil society for years. John
Elkington, the group's founder, has also worked to advance the busines
participation in sustainability and coined the term "triple-bottom
line" in his book Cannibals with Forks.
With the relaunch of the organization's Web site, many of the
in-depth research articles can now be downloaded for free from the
site. These reports (available in the Think Tank section), can be accessed after you sign up for a free user account at the site.
Some of our favorites from this collection include:
- Business case reports including "Burried Treasure: Uncovering the business case for corporate sustainability" and "Developing Value: The business case for sustainability in emerging markets" (also available in Spanish)
- Civil Society: "The 21st Century NGO: In the Market for Change",
about the impressive scale of the NGO sector and how it is going about

The new site also includes a section of Issue Briefs for quick reference.
By increasing access to the information (both through free distribution and through translation of some reports into other languages), SustainAbility increases the potential impact of its work and influence in global development.
