Visionary Dinner: ifPeople joins Host Committee for Premier Sustainability Event
Southface Energy Institute, a leader in sustainability in the southeast, hosts its annual Visionary Dinner, which will bring together thought leaders and practicioners from around the region. ifPeople, part of the Host Committee, invites you to join this forward-thinking group for an evening of celebration.
The
2005 Visionary Dinner, Southfaces annual gala
fundraiser, will reach new heights of dining and environmental
excellence. Join us for an evening that includes a meal
coordinated by the Whole Foods Market Chefs Panel, accompanied
by a visionary keynote address by Ray Anderson.
The
event embodies the ideals of sustainability and provides a stellar
social occassion. With wines from Fetzer, including its premium organic
line Bonterra Viognier. The chefs are preparing five courses,
each matched to a wine.
The
event also includes the keynote address of Ray Anderson, a Georgia
native and leader for sustainability. As the founder of Interface, he
led a massive turnaround in the $1+ billion business to align it with
sustainable ecological performance. The result is improve ecological
performance and a savings on the order of one hundred million dollars.
Ray has won many awards and is an inspiring speaker.
ifPeople joins the Host Committee of local
leaders for the event. Along with the region's business community, the
Turner Foundation, Emory University, and the Atlanta Metro Chamber of
Commerce, we will ensure that the evening is one to remember.
