BALLE 3rd Annual International Conference

Vancouver, BC Canada
June 2-5, 2005

The BALLE conference has a spirit of collaboration and fun not common in conferences. There is always incredible food (usually organic and local), great speakers (from business, civil society, media, and government realms), and an inspiring group of participants.  This is a highly recommended event!

This year's speakers include Judy Wicks, David Korten, Michael Shuman, David Suzuki and more (see speakers here and the program here). The conference format includes group discussions, panels, breakout sessions, and fun social time. There is also a prior Youth Forum, a marketplace, and more.

This year, ifPeople is a Silver sponsor of the BALLE conference. We are proud to support BALLE and its innovative approach to business and development.

ifPeople's Chris Johnson will also be presenting on the future of technology for the responsible business movement.

ifPeople and BALLE will also launch a new BALLE web site, built on open source technology and with an exciting new design. Check www.livingeconomies.org soon for the new site.
