Pegasus Conference: Systems Thinking in Action
The 17th annual Pegasus Conference on "Systems Thinking in Action" took place in Seattle, WA November 5-7, 2007. Over a thousand people gathered for the intense learning experience that Pegasus Communications fosters at the event. From outstanding keynotes like Peter Senge and Van Jones to a rich variety of quality concurrent sessions, the event focused energy on the topic of "amplifying our impact" by unleashing the power of relationships. As part of the conference program, ifPeople cofounder provided the presentation created with Tirza Hollenhorst on online collaboration, "More Than Just a Meeting Place: Leveraging online tools for action." The session drew a full room and covered a wide range of topics (as reference, about half the audience was already doing online collaboration projects and a quarter were in the process of implementing). The presentation includes a participative activity and a question and answer session that lead to complementary discussions on:
