ifPeople presents "social sourcing" at Plone Symposium NOLA

ifPeople's cofounder Christopher Johnson addressed the Plone Symposium in New Orleans (June 4, 2008) on fostering a collaborative open source community. The model, which was developed for leading the GetPaid for Plone project, combines an entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative design process, and facilitated communication with the traditional developer-led code-based work.

ifPeople Announces Open Source Django Apps

ifPeople seeks to share the knowledge and tools it creates and sharing our software is one way to do that. In working with the Python-based Django platform, we have found that many small, useful bits are missing. This is our first rollout of generic Django apps to our Open Source repository.

N-Ten Conference Sessions (vote for Plone and Salesforce!)

The Nonprofit Technology Network (N-TEN) conference (NTC) will take place April 26-28, 2009, in San Francisco, California. At this annual spring event, leaders in the technology and nonprofit sectors come together to learn from one another. Technology providers have the opportunity to present their latest work and knowledge to the field. This year, the organization has incorporated a democratic process to agenda planning. Proposed sessions are up for vote.

World Plone Day 2008
