ifPeople Celebrates MLK With a Day On

ifPeople got out in our neighborhood – the same one Dr Martin Luther King, Jr was born in – for a day of service.
On January 18th, ifPeople celebrated King Memorial Day with a day-on. We participated in a Trees Atlanta planting and helped put over 60 trees in the ground. Our team chose a tree that was going into a former parking lot. Hard digging, but very rewarding.
After the planting, we had a reception at the ifPeople HQ with a keg of Chris's homebrew. It was a lovely gathering and we look forward to watching the trees and our adopted neighborhood blossom in 2010.
