ifPeople's Website Care Package is a Support Plan designed to ensure your Plone site stays healthy and valuable to your organization over the life of its use. We combine the knowledge and skills of our professional team to provide you with basic analysis, systems administration, and problem solving for a healthy site as well as ongoing training. Website Care Packages
Website Care Packages are designed to ensure a regular level of maintenance on your Plone site to complement or extend that which a hosting provider offers. We offer:
- Support tickets/service
- Immediate application of security patches
- Upgrades to products with bug or security fixes affecting your site
- Review of server logs for potential problems
- Optimizing your site's database
- Verification (or creation of) site backups
- Basic analysis of your website usage statistics
- Planning/review meeting to brainstorm and discuss ideas for your site
- Free access to monthly webinar for your staff. Check schedule of upcoming webinars.
- Carbon offsets for your hosting impact
- Regular upgrades to the the next point-release of Plone (eg. 3.1.1 to 3.1.2).
After the maintenance has been performed, you will receive a written report on the health of the site and suggestions for improvement. Additionally, at your regular planning and review meeting, we will discuss the meaning of your website usage statistics, help you
We offer monthly and bi-annual payment options. Monthly payment requires a credit card and is billed through our secure recurring billing with Authorize.net. Subscription services require a minimum of six months service. You can also save by prepaying for the six months.

The Standard package covers setups with up to one ZEO client, a caching service and HTTP front-end. It does not support setups with external connectivity, eg. relational databases. The regular maintenance check runs once every other month, and the Plone version upgrade once per semester. The plan also includes 3 support tickets each semester.
The Professional package covers setups with one or more ZEO clients and applications related to the Plone site, as long as they reside on the same physical server. The regular maintenance check runs once each month, and the version upgrade once per quarter. The plan also includes 5 support tickets each semester.

WEBINARS
ifPeople offers monthly webinars on topics covering website usage, marketing, and related areas. All support clients (and their staff) are able to attend these events for free. Check schedule of upcoming webinars
SUPPORT TICKETS
Support tickets can be a request for any of ifPeople's services (development, systems administration, design, training, consulting), as long as the work of the ticket is no longer than a maximum of one hour. PLANNING/REVIEW MEETINGS
We give you a space to share your ideas for the website and get feedback from our expert staff. We find that through this process, almost one third of requests are already possible in the existing site, one third are ideas that would be excessively costly to implement, and one third can be refined to cost effective improvements. We help guide you in planning for the future of your site so you can get the most value out of it now and save money in the future. We also review current usage and help you interpret the results, brainstorm ideas, and answer questions you have.
MAINTENANCE
ifPeople is plugged in to the frequent updates of information on products relevant to your site. We know when an important security patch comes out or when a product is released that fixes a bug our clients are experiencing. We also know the Plone community and how to get even more information and value out of it. A main advantage of choosing ifPeople's support is that we can translate this experience into a more updated, secure, and valuable website for your organization. Basic maintenance includes updating products as compatible, stable releases are made. We apply security patches immediately to your site.
CARBON NEUTRALITY
ifPeople recognizes that human contributions of carbon to the atmosphere represent a serious threat to global climate stability, with potential consequences in terms of human health, ecosystem survival, and society's stability. As an added bonus for using ifPeople for your site maintenance, will will offset the carbon impact generated from your portion of server activity. We offset CO2 impacts from our servers and activities each year through tree plants and other activities.
